Task Reports

We will be constructing a frame for the raised beds, so we can protect tender plants such as tomatoes and chillies.

This will be our last session building the pond platform at Wycliffe School. We will be adding decking to the frame and  continuing to tidy up the area, so it is ready for classes to use after the May half term.

We will continue constructing a frame for a pond platform, so pupils can enjoy pond dipping activities. Other tasks may include willow weaving, sowing wild flower seeds and general site maintenance.

If you would like to come along we will be there from 10.30-3.30 and if you'd like a lift in the minibus please be at Culture Fusion by 10am. As always please bring a packed lunch and wear practical clothing.

We will be building wooden raised beds with some larch sleepers, sowing veg and wildflower seeds and doing a general sort out of the garden in preparation for the growing season.

We planted some large, standard trees- field Maple, hornbeam and crabapple and sowed wildflowers. 

We will be meeting at Stephen Smith's Car Park at 9.30am ( free parking is available here whilst planting) and walking to a site in Harden to carry out tree planting with Bradford Rotary Club Bronte and two local schools, from 10am in the morning. 

We will not be travelling in the minibus, so anyone wanting to come along will need to make their own way there.
