Conservation Volunteers

From July to September we will be carrying out maintenance work at wildlife area/nature reserves within two schools, so the areas are ready for pupils to use in September.

We are also carrying out a variety of task days at other sites throughout the Bradford district, including bracken removal on Baildon Moor. We will also have a lot of orchard work to carry out at our community orchard. The last visit will be to start preparing the site for Apple Day in October. Watch this space for a date.

Some task days are subject to change, so please check this page the day before coming along.

We can now take volunteers in the minibus, but do ask you wear a mask whilst travelling. Do get in touch if you would like a lift.

Please bring warm clothing, a packed lunch and sturdy footwear.
