Task Reports

We will be continuing path cutting and as we have a huge quantity of tree guards and continue separating the recyclable ones from the usable for recycling over the weekend

We will be taking a break, but will be back on the 8th September.

We are taking some holiday, so no task this week

We will be summer pruning apple trees, path cutting and tying in some wild flowers that are hanging over the paths.

There is an opportunity to recycle old tree guards in September, so we will be separating the recyclable tree guards from the usable ones as well as path cutting.

I'm afraid due to unforseen circumstances there will be no task day this Friday.

However, our task programme bringing us into September, will be with you shortly.

We will be continuing our task of clearing the bays and sawing wood for habitat piles and future charcoal burning.

If you'd like a lift from Culture Fusion at 10am please let us know.

Tomorrow we will be continuing our work  organising the storage bays on site. We may also start chopping/sawing some of a large pile of logs into smaller sizes. 

This is with a view to making it usable for future possible charcoal making activities.

This week we will be focusing on cutting grass beneath the fruit frees,  extending support for the hops, watering and cutting paths.

We will be cutting and clearing paths to improve access as we haven't visited for a while and they are quite overgrown.

Depending how we get on, we may visit Bowling Park Orchard in the afternoon, so if you are planning to come along in the afternoon please let us know so we can keep in touch about where we are at.
