Task Reports

We will be tree planting with Ian and YORGreen again this Friday. Not sure where yet but we will be setting off earlier again at 9.30am. Please arrive before this in enough time to get boots and waterproofs. 

Continuing with work to renew the BEES Urban Nature Reserve, as part of our Postcode Local Trust grant; today we replaced the old steps that lead down to the site.  We planted some trees, holly and guelder rose, to form a shrub layer to provide added cover and food for birds. We also did some clearing of vegetation in the woodland area and on the meadow on the railway cutting. 

We are tree planting again with Ian from YORGreen. Site still to be confirmed but please note early departure time of 9.30. Please arrive before this leaving enough time to get boots and waterproofs.

Our annual sort out, general maintenance tasks, tool repairs and inventory. 

Our traditional Christmas task, tree planting in the countryside. Site to be confirmed. Please note we will be leaving Culture Fusion earlier than normal at 9.30am promptly, please come earlier and leave enough time to get boots and waterproofs and to load any tools. Please let us know if you are coming. 

We will be tree planting in the countryside, at Airton  with Ian of "YorGreen". Our first tree planting of the season! 

Please make sure you arrive in good time today to sort out boots and waterproofs, we will be leaving promptly at 10 o'clock as we have a long journey. 

We will be making a start on the winter pruning of the apple trees.  There will also be other more energetic jobs to keep us warm.
