CSC All Ages

Community Space Challenge All Ages project

In March 2012 BEES started a new programme which will run through to March 2013. It is building on the success of Community Space Challenge which has worked with young people to make environmental improvements in three neighbourhoods in Bradford.

The new programme continues with the aim of improving green spaces in the city but this project aims to work with mixed groups of people of 'All Ages'! The project is one of 15 All Ages Community Space Challenge projects funded by the Government Cabinet Office Social Action Fund and managed by national charity Catch22.

National Projects Manager Adrian Taylor said: “CSC All Ages has evolved to reflect that people of all ages want to contribute to their local community, either through their time, money, knowledge or materials. Environmental work provides people interesting and practical ways of meeting their neighbours and having a stake in the way your community feels and looks.”
