Newby Primary School

This will be the second day of planting standard cherry trees in the school grounds. The trees are quite big, so any help will be much appreciated.

Collection and drop off of large trees
Meet at 10.30 at Culture Fusion, 125 Thornton Road. Bradford, BD1 6EP.
We will be collecting trees, stakes and ties from Peel Park Council Depot and dropping them off at Newby Primary School, so we have resources for the following two days tree planting.

Dixons Manningham Primary School

We will be planting climbers along the perimeter of a boundary fence.
Russell Street Nursery
Russell Street Nursery, 3 Russell St, Bradford BD5 0JB
We will be planting a jam hedge with a variety of fruit bushes.

Lower Fields Primary School
Lower Fields Primary School, Fenby Avenue, Bradford BD4 8RG.
We will be pruning and renovating a willow dome.
Please bring a packed lunch and wear warm clothes and sturdy boots- we can provide some as well as waterproofs, if you let us know what size you need.
If anyone wants a lift in the minibus, do let us know as seat numbers are limited. We will set off from Culture Fusion around 10am.
Bowling Park Community Orchard
Bowling Park Drive, BD4 7ES
We will be undertaking a range of jobs including, hedge-laying, coppicing, soft fruit pruning, raking leaves and weeding.
Tree Planting Newhall Park
Newhall Park. There are two entrances, one on Newhall Park Drive near BD5 8FB- where the 635, 620, 686 and 508 buses all go, or via Bierley Lane near BD4 6DU which the 620 and 635 buses also go on.
We are hoping to complete planting trees in the central section of the site
If you would like a lift in the minibus please get in touch. We will need to leave Culture Fusion at 10am.
Please bring a packed lunch, warm clothes and sturdy boots.

This will be our second day at Lidget Green where we will be completing tasks including planting a jam fruit hedge, climbers, a wildlife hedge and some standard trees..
If you would like to join us please bring along a packed lunch and warm clothes.
