Meeting Place: The at Norman Arch, Frizinghall Note Meet at 10.30am
Emm Lane may have parking spaces available due to the university vacation. There are several bus routes stopping by the park.
These are two sites close together. One is totally under man’s control and the other developed as a wild wood but is now being managed. Buds should be breaking adding further features to our identification skills, early plant species could be in bloom and some Spring migrants may have arrived. Paths in the park offer no problems but the woods will be wet, muddy and slippery in places so stout footwear and a pole is recommended. We will finish the walk back at Norman Arch. No public toilets on route; but you can visit the toilets near Oak Lane entrance or Cartwright Hall before the walk starts.
Leaders: Julia Pearson and Alice Gingell. Cost £2
No minibus transport
